When I was four years old, my parents started finding candy wrappers hidden under my bed.


Candy was never just a treat for me. It was the highlight of my day, every day. When I moved to Europe for university, I discovered Swedish candy for the first time and honestly, nothing was ever the same. The flavours, the texture and the quality were like nothing I had ever tasted. I remember thinking: why doesn't everyone know about this?


That question never left me. After university I took the sensible path and spent years working in finance. It never felt right. When I finally asked myself what I actually wanted, the answer was always the same: to build something of my own. Something that made people genuinely happy.
