Shipping policy

Thank you for shopping at Candy Goddess! We carefully prepare and ship each order so it arrives safely, beautifully, and ready to enjoy. Please review our shipping guidelines below.
1. PROCESSING TIMES

All orders are processed within 1-3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.

We generally do not ship on weekends or on holidays.

Need same-day or weekend local delivery? Email us at hello@candygoddess.ca and we’ll gladly do our best to make it happen. Additional charges may apply.

When your order has shipped, you will receive another notification, which will include your tracking number.

Peak Seasons: During high-volume periods (e.g., Holidays, Valentine's Day), processing times may be extended.
2. DELIVERY ESTIMATES
Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Transit times vary depending on destination, carrier, and shipping method selected. Delivery delays caused by events beyond our control (weather, carrier disruptions, customs delays, etc.) are not the responsibility of Candy Goddess.
3. DOMESTIC SHIPPING (CANADA)
We ship nationwide across Canada from our facility in Ontario.

Carrier: We primarily use Canada Post.

Shipping Rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Shipping is free on Canadian orders over $75.00 CDN (before sales tax and after any discounts). This excludes Nunavut, Northwest Territories and Yukon.

Expedited Shipping is not express shipping. It is an estimated shipping travel time once the item is submitted to the carrier. If the shipping time provides an estimation of 1 business day, this does not mean that your order will be processed, shipped out and delivered within 1 business day. It means that once it has been shipped, it will take approximately 1 business day to arrive.

Delivery times outside of Ontario can take anywhere between 1-7 business days to arrive. Longer shipping times may occur due to shipping delays beyond our control.

Delivery times to remote areas may take longer than normal. Orders can arrive anywhere between 4-12 business days.
4. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (UNITED STATES)
We are happy to share the sweetness with our neighbours in the USA!

Shipping is free on U.S orders over $200.00 USD (after any discounts). This excludes Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

Orders may take anywhere between 2-7 business days to arrive. Longer shipping times may occur due to shipping delays beyond our control.

Importer of Record: When ordering from Candy Goddess, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the United States.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes: Orders shipped to the USA may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country. Candy Goddess is not responsible for these charges. They are the sole responsibility of the customer. If you reject your order due these extra charges, a fee may apply when processing your refund (if applicable).

Cross-Border Delays: Please note that while we use reliable carriers, we cannot control delays caused by U.S. Customs and Border Protection
5. SHIPPING TO P.O. BOXES AND APO/FPO ADDRESSES

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes within Canada..

For U.S. customers, please provide a physical address, as some carriers cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.
6. TEMPERATURE & WEATHER ADVISORY (MELTING RISK)
Because our products include delicate sweets and chocolates:

Extreme Cold: Extreme cold temperatures may affect certain products, becoming brittle or experiencing texture changes. The acrylic boards may also be affected.

Heat Sensitivity: During summer months or when shipping to warm-weather states (e.g., FL, TX, CA, AZ), there is a risk of melting.

Recommendations: We strongly advise choosing Expedited or Express Shipping if your outdoor temperature exceeds 25°C (77°F) or falls below −10 °C (14 °F).

Responsibility: Candy Goddess is not responsible for damage caused by extreme temperatures during transit or after delivery.
7. ORDER TRACKING
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking link. Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking information to update. Please note we have no visibility into any carrier’s system, other than the tracking number. Please contact the carrier first to determine the reason for the delays.
If your package has for some reason been returned to us (ie - wrong address given, no occupancy, etc) and the package needs to be resent, it is the responsibility of the customer to pay for shipping.
While we are unable to replace packages marked as delivered, we will gladly assist you in filing a claim with the carrier.
8. INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS
Please ensure your shipping address is entered correctly at checkout.

Errors: If you notice an error in your address, please contact us immediately at hello@candygoddess.ca.

Redelivery: If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for the additional shipping costs to resend the order.
9. LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES
Candy Goddess is not responsible for lost or stolen packages confirmed to be delivered to the address entered for an order. Upon inquiry, we will confirm the delivery to the address provided, date of delivery, tracking information, and shipping carrier information for the customer to investigate.
